Content pillars are a crucial base for your social media messaging strategy.


I recommend structuring them in the following way:

  1. Map out your key brand values

  2. Brainstorm content ideas for your key channels relating to educational content (content than brings values and teaches about your brand expertise)

  3. Brainstorm content ideas for your key channels relating to engaging content (content that involves your customer)

  4. Brainstorm content ideas for your key channels relating to Inspirational content (content that represents your brand philosophy, design , aesthetic inspiration)

  5. Brainstorm content ideas for your product based content (this is your sales oriented content, relating to portraying your product in creative ways)

  6. From here structure these ideas into a weekly calendar ( I recommend using trello) And classy your ideas into occasional content that you can post once in while as specific campaigns VS. Regular weekly content
